WW2 - Tigers in The Snow

An Eastern Front game was played out. Russian and German armoured forces once more clashing in the snows of a Russian Winter.

Welcome To Hell!

(Africa Style)

This was a chance to try out the Force On Force Modern Rules. The setting was late 1960's Africa. A government force had fulfilled its orders and reached the railway station in the centre of a colonial town. As they relaxed the rebel ambush began. The government forces had three tanks, three APC's and an armoured car. The rebels were infantry with only a recoiless rifle for heavy support with some off table artillery available in a few moves time.

It all started badly for the government forces and then it grew steadily worse. Not one but two lucky shots from the rebel RPG's and recoiless rifle set

fire to two of the tanks. One with an  engine bay fire and the other with a penetrating shot to the crew compartment.

As the Government troops started to organise their defense, more rebels opened up and their sheer weight of firepower devastated the remaining infantry.

It was over quickly with a decisive rebel victory.

WW1 Airwar

Once more a fine selection of aircraft took to the skies over France. A number of sorties were carried out with rookies once more proving they could soon become aces.
